Allen E. Reichardt, age 86, of 3100 Peto Street, Manitowoc, passed away with his family by his side late Wednesday evening, June 5, 2013 at his residence.

Allen was born July 3, 1926 in the town of Liberty, Manitowoc County. He was the son of the late Charles and Ida Lutzke Reichardt. Allen farmed in the town of Liberty and later became employed at Invincible Metal Furniture from where he retired in 1990. On November 10, 1962 he married Doris Groelle in the town of Liberty. Allen was a lifelong member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Doris; three daughters and sons-in-law: Laurie and Bruce Steeber, Manitowoc, WI; Patsy and Rodney St. John, Florida; Susan and Steve Fagan, Illinois; two grandchildren: Olivia Fagan and Alexander St. John; one sister-in-law: Helen Riechardt, Manitowoc, WI; along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Ida Reichardt; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Herb and Norma Reichardt; Leonard Reichardt; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Norma and Herman Eberhardt; Viola and Norbert Hoefner.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Rev. Gregory Pope officiating. Entombment will take place at Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services at 2:00 p.m.
