Andrea Kay Schwalbe, age 58, entered eternal life on Monday, January 3, 2022 at home of natural causes.
Andrea was born on July 11, 1963 in Chilton, WI. She was the daughter of Glenn and Janet Mahnke Schwalbe. Andrea was a graduate of Manitowoc Lutheran High School with the class of 1981. She continued her education graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Andrea loved her job serving her country as a civilian Special Agent for the United States Department of Defense. She loved to cross stich and made multiple beautiful pictures for her parents and other family members. Andrea collected cross stich patterns, cooking aprons, unique antiques cookbooks, and unique college mascot t-shirts. She loved to watch the Green Bay Packers, Colorado Rockies, and especially Tour de France, but enjoyed watching all sports along with the Dan Patrick Show. Andrea was a member of First German Ev. Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a special daughter, Lindsay (Dylan Gonzales) Burnside, CA; parents, Glenn and Janet Schwalbe, Manitowoc; three brothers, Glenn (Tami) Schwalbe, Newton, Mark (Sandy) Schwalbe, Pleasant Prairie; Chris (Rochelle) Schwalbe, Matteson, IL; one sister, Laurie (Chuck) Rathsack, Two Rivers; brother-in-law, Dave Hollub, Sauk City; nieces and nephews, Chad (Emily) and Aaron Rathsack, Tanya and Justin Schwalbe, Ethan, Anna, Emma, Alegra, and Aidan Schwalbe, Jenni (Josh) Witzel, Brad (Tabitha) Joiner, Morgan Schwalbe, Eric Hollub; great nieces and nephews, Mira and Luke Rathsack, Mackenzie, Jordynn, Joshua "Fritz" Witzel; along with aunts, uncles other relatives and friends and her special pet Schnauzer, Lilly. She was preceded in death by her sister, Trudy Lynn Hollub, niece, Haley Kathleen Schwalbe, and her Godfather, Garfield Mahnke.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Rev. Jacob Hoff officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Following the memorial service a luncheon will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
