Andrew T. Schuch, age 94, entered into eternal life on Monday, November 21, 2011.

Andrew was born on June 22, 1917, in Milwaukee to the late Adolph and Mathilda (Odrey) Schuch. Andrew moved with his family to Kewaunee in 1921. He is a graduate of Kewaunee High School, attended Oshkosh Teachers College for two years and then took the four year Dental Course at Marquette University in Milwaukee, receiving a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in December of 1943. Andrew was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II. Following his graduation from Marquette, he served with the Navy Dental Corps at Mare Island Naval Yard and at Kaneohe Naval Air Base, on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. He married Dolores M. Steckbauer, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Steckbauer, Oshkosh, in a ceremony in the chapel at Mare Island, California on January 29, 1944. Andrew's wife, Dolores preceeded him in death on January 17, 1997. After his military service, Andrew opened his Dental Practice in Menasha, Wisconsin, providing dental services to the communities of Menasha and Neenah for 38 years. A respected member of the community of Menasha for 54 years, Andrew belonged to the Benevelent Protectorate Order of Elks and was a private pilot, owning and flying several float planes.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter, Richard J. Schuch of Gays Mills, Wisconsin; Gary M. Schuch of Phoenix, Arizona; and Garnet (Schuch) Gold of Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

Andrew will be cremated and interned with his wife Dolores' cremated remains at St. Peter's Catholic Section of Riverside Cemetary, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home of Manitowoc is assisting the family with the arrangements.
