Anita W. Stichert, age 84, a Manitowoc resident, entered into eternal life on Monday, September 20, 2010 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.

Anita was born on November 22, 1925 in Alhambra, CA to the late Louis and Bertha Hoffman. On June 5, 1947, Anita married Harvey Stichert in LaSalle, IL. Harvey preceded her in death on December 14, 1980. She was employed with Northern Labs for over 10 years. Anita enjoyed spending her time quilting and traveling. She was a member of the Manitowoc Senior Center. Anita was an active member of First Reformed United Church of Christ where she participated in Snip n' Sew and the Ladies' Guild.

Survivors include her five children: Jeffrey Stichert, Nokomis, FL; Gary (Nancy) Stichert, Casper, WY; Randy (Cindy) Stichert, Manitowoc; Pam (Jeff) Gloeckler, Green Bay; and Robert Stichert, Milwaukee; two grandchildren: Neil (Samia) Stichert and Mark Stichert; and two great grandchildren: Lauren and Miranda Stichert.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, N. 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc on Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 4 pm until the time of the funeral service at 6 pm. Rev. Richard Runge will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
