Annie Beatrice "Bea" Wooten, age 81, entered eternal life on Monday, June 16th, 2025 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

Bea was born September 6, 1943 to Robert B. Fort and Hallie Mae (Hobbs) Fort in Black Hawk, Mississippi. She (a.k.a. Pineapple Princess) graduated from Sumner High School in Kansas City, Kansas, with the class of 1962.  Bea married her high school sweetheart, Reuben James Wooten, in Kansas City, KS.  He preceded her in death on January 2, 1998.  She worked at the Wyandotte County Courthouse as a deputy clerk of the district courts. After 27 years of service, Bea retired on December 22nd, 2000. She started a second career as a Teacher's Assistant at Mount Vernon Woods Elementary School in Mount Vernon, Virginia. Bea's life after her career consisted of being a wonderful and dedicated grandmother to her two grandchildren.

Bea was a woman of many talents and interests such as, performing on the Ted Mack Amateur Hour with her bandmates, being an avid reader, watching British mysteries, and doing word search puzzles.

Survivors include Bea's daughter, Danielle (John) Rappel, Manitowoc, WI; two loving grandchildren, Jordan Motsinger, Reston, VA; and Allie Rappel, New York, NY; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben James Wooten; son, Damon LaMont Wooten; parents, Robert and Hallie Fort; and step father, Charles Spencer White.

A private family burial for Bea was held on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025 at Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas where she was laid to rest next to her husband, Reuben.
