Anthony "Tony" V. Virnoche, 53, of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
He was born on October 3, 1968 in Two Rivers to the late Paul R. and Nancy A. (Emond) Virnoche, Jr. Tony grew up in the town of Newton and graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, with the class of 1987. He worked for the last 12 years at Kerry Group/Red Arrow Products as a process engineer.
Tony enjoyed deer hunting, both archery and gun; and had a love of boating and the great outdoors. He also enjoyed playing volleyball, baseball, and fabricating RC cars. He was the founder of The Archery Program (TAP) and a past member of the Viking Bow and Gun Club.
Survivors include his sons, Ryan T. Virnoche and Kevin J. Virnoche, both of Manitowoc; brothers, Tracy (Laurie) Virnoche of Manitowoc, Jay (Pam) Virnoche of Sagle, ID, Gregg (Micki) Virnoche of Two Rivers, Todd (Tammy) Virnoche of Arlington, TX, and Philip (Angie) Virnoche of Spokane Valley, WA; sister, Dana Skarda (Dennis Gaber) of Brookfield; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Nancy Virnoche, Jr.; brother, Scot Virnoche; and infant son, Matthew Virnoche.
A funeral service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2022 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Tony's brother, Reverend/Chaplain Todd M. Virnoche officiating. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. until the time of service in the funeral home. Cremation will follow at a later date at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Following the service, a reception will be held for family and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home.
