Barbara "Bobbie" L. Kiel, age 66, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at her residence.

Bobbie was born on December 20, 1955 in Manitowoc to the late Joseph and Lucille (Lindauer) Fruzyna.  She graduated from New Holstein High School with the class of 1973.  On November 27, 1976 at 2:10 p.m., Bobbie married Wayne Kiel at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Manitowoc.  After working at Mirro Corporation, Bobbie was a homemaker and was devoted to her family.  Being an avid dog lover, that led to her passion for breeding poodles. She also had a lot of fun taking jobs and working alongside her husband and children.  Bobbie loved making jewelry, collecting all things butterflies, and watching Will and Angie dominate karaoke competitions.  Above all, there was nothing more important or defining in Bobbie's life than her faith in God.

Survivors include Bobbie's husband of 45 years, Wayne; two children, Angie (Don) Duescher, Manitowoc; and Will (Jenn) Kiel, Chilton; two grandchildren, Lucy and Tristen; several step-grandchildren; sister, Marie (John) Levenhagen; brother, Andrew Fruzyna; her chihuahua, Penny; also other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lucille Fruzyna; stepfather, William Kimball; stepson, Scott Kiel; and grandson, Matthew Erickson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.  Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.  A reception will then take place at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.  The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
