Obituary

Benedict D. Dallman, age 81, a resident of Brillion, and formerly of South Milwaukee and Lake Camelot, entered eternal life on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Brillion West Haven.

Ben was the youngest of eight children and was born on October 10, 1936 in Bevent to the late Joseph and Helen Cherek Dallman. On November 16, 1957, Ben married Janice Egner at St. Mary's Catholic Church in South Milwaukee. She preceded him in death on October 26, 2009. Ben was a partner at Ben and Jerry's Amoco in South Milwaukee for 32 years, and then started Ben's Service Center in South Milwaukee which he operated until his retirement in 1994. He was an active member of South Milwaukee Lions Club and was a 25 year Volunteer Firefighter of South Milwaukee. Ben enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling, auto racing, and his remaining free time was spent at Lake Camelot.

Survivors include his three children, Joe Dallman, New Berlin; Pete (Pam) Dallman, Green Bay; and Karen Dallman and her significant other, Ken Doell, Sturgeon Bay; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Larissa, Kasey and her fiancée Hurue, Brad (Jessica), and Benjamin; great granddaughter, Natalie; brother, Robert Dallman, Milwaukee; also nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Ben was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen Dallman; wife, Janice; and six siblings.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate with burial of Ben's cremated remains to take place at Cooksville Cemetery at a later date. Following the memorial service, a luncheon will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
