Obituary

Beth Marek-Krcma, age 65, a resident of Grafton, entered eternal life late Saturday evening, December 19, 2015 at the family residence.

Beth was born on September 14, 1950 in Two Rivers. She was the daughter of the Marjorie Garrigan Marek and the late Claude "Butch" Marek. Beth graduated from Holy Family Academy in Manitowoc with the class of 1968. She continued her education at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield becoming a Certified Operating Room Technologist. Beth then became employed at St. Joseph's Hospital until 1972 when she became employed for the next 10 years at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee. In later years Beth was employed in Grafton at the Kohl's Department Store and the Ozaukee Apochecary. On September 30, 1972 she married Gary P. Krcma at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Beth was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Newton. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crafts. Beth dearly loved her granddaughter Isabella and her family. She was known for making people laugh with her great sense of humor and her sense of quick wit.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years: Gary; two children: Becky (Zach) Holzer, Kohler; Michael Krcma, Grafton; one granddaughter: Isabella Rosemary Holzer; her mother: Marjorie Marek, Manitowoc; five brothers and one sister: Thomas Garrigan, Tomahawk; Chris (Jennifer) Marek, Campbellsport; Mike (Sue) Marek, Kellnersville; Pat Marek, New Orleans, LA; Margie Marek, Manitowoc; Jim (Martha) Marek, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father: Claude "Butch" Marek in 1986.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 8100 Brunner Road, Newton. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Beaudry with burial of the cremains at the parish cemetery. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Relatives and friends may call at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the memorial services at 11 a.m.
