Betty E. Bruckner, age 83, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Magnolia Meadows Assisted Living facility in Manitowoc.

Betty was born on June 4, 1937 in Sturgeon Bay, WI.  She was the daughter of the late Alvin and Anna Dietrich Brungraber.  Betty was a graduate of Gibraltar High School in Fish Creek, Door County.  She was employed at Mirro Aluminum for many years retiring in 1995.  On May 31, 1958 she married Edward J. Bruckner at West Jackson Port in Door County.  He preceded her in death on August 15, 1995.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph (Bonnie) Bruckner, Las Vegas, Nevada and Eugene Bruckner of Manitowoc; three grandchildren, Michael Bruckner, Danielle Tess, and Austin Bruckner; along with other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Anna Brungraber, one son, Alvin Bruckner, and one sister, Lucille Gunnlaugsson.

A Life Celebration Social will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.  Burial of her cremated remains will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc.
