Betty B. Sheck Herman, age 87, a resident at Northland Lodge, Two Rivers, died Sunday, February, 4, 2018 at her home.
She was born on February 11, 1930 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Christian and Elizabeth Krug. Betty was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1948. On February 16, 1949, she married Martin Sheck in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on February 15, 1995. On July 29, 2001 Betty married William Herman in Manitowoc. She was a member of Trinity Alliance Church, Manitowoc. Betty enjoyed knitting, gardening and tending to her Koi pond.
Survivors include her husband: Bill Herman, Two Rivers; one son: Martin Sheck, Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law: Lisa (Howard) Robertson, Hayward, Laura Herman, Green Bay and Nick Kravljanac, Gainesville, FL; seven grandchildren: Buck Robertson, Bo Dean Robertson, Katelyn Burton, Kendra Dassey, Nicholas Kravaljanac, Kevin Kravaljanac and Alaina Stodola; nine great-grandchildren: Zia Robertson, Violet Robertson, Kahlan Robertson, Jamie Robertson, Pierce Robertson, Cory Dassey, Deacon Dassey, Eli Burton and Wesley Zorn; one sister: Margaret Ruzek, Larabee; former daughter-in-law: Amy Sheck. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by her parents: Christian and Elizabeth Krug, one daughter: Cecelia Kravaljanac; one sister and two brothers-in-law: Edith and Karl Klackner, Joe Ruzek.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the memorial service will be Chaplain Brad McIntyre with burial of the cremated remains to be at Knollwood Memorial Gardens. A luncheon will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center adjacent to the funeral home immediately following the memorial service. Cremation has occurred at Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. The family will greet relatives and friends at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
