Betty J. Kunesh, age 77, of 1527 South 36th Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Friday evening, January 31, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Betty was born on February 24, 1936 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Emil and Emilie Kowalski Ducat. She was employed with Mirro Aluminum for 32 years retiring in 1996. On June 26, 1954 she married Raymond Kunesh Sr. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Betty loved to read and travel and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years: Raymond; five children: Anna Marie (Jay) Leiteritz, Manitowoc; Raymond (Terry Jayne) Kunesh Jr., Manitowoc; John Anthony (Judith) Kunesh, Manitowoc; Gaye Lynn (Gary) Zahn, Manitowoc; Terence Micheal Kunesh, Whitelaw, WI; thirteen grandchildren, three step grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three brothers: Emil (Jean) Ducat Jr., Sheboygan, WI; Thomas Ducat, Manitowoc; Richard (Victoria) Ducat, Mishicot, WI; three sisters: Carolyn (Anthony) Boldt, Manitowoc; Frances DeGrande, Manitowoc; Patricia (Delmar) Ruether, Two Rivers, WI; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and one daughter-in-law.

A Life Celebration Social will be held for family and friends on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
