Betty E. Levendusky, age 97, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life peacefully while surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at her home at LakeHouse.
Betty was born on December 6, 1928 in Manitowoc to the late Louis and Ida (Huebner) Bishop. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1947. On February 3, 1951, Betty married Bernard Levendusky Jr. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on September 27, 2013. Betty was employed with Rahr Malting / Anheuser Busch as an executive secretary where she worked for 40 years until her retirement in 1990. She enjoyed taking trips up north with her husband and family, fishing, knitting, and reading. Betty was a very devout Catholic. She spent mornings reading daily devotions, attending church with family, and prayed often. Above all, she enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends – especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her two daughters, Lynn (Kim) Graykowski and Kim (Tim) Ryan; three grandchildren, Anthony (Seneca) Graykowski, Cassidy (Andrew) Ahola, and Camryn (Holden) Kahlenberg; three great grandchildren with one on the way, Chase, Charlee, Thomas, and Adele; also other relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Ida Bishop; husband, Bernard Levendusky Jr.; four sisters, Bernice (Ray) Pilzak, Calla (Robert) Palace, infant sister Janie, and Patricia (Lester) Lambries.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Calvary Mausoleum Chapel, Manitowoc. Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum. A luncheon for family and friends will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. The family will greet relatives and friends at Calvary Mausoleum Chapel on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
