Blanche M. Korte, age 93, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Monday, November 17, 2025 with family by her side.

Blanche was born on February 15, 1932 in Manitowoc to the late Walter and Blanche (Dufek) Luchsinger.  She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1950.  On May 12, 1951, Blanche married Earl Korte at First German Ev. Lutheran Church.  He preceded her in death on February 12, 2019.  Blanche was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and was a huge animal lover.  Above all, Blanche enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Survivors include Blanche's eight children, Michael Korte, Manitowoc; Stephen (Judy) Korte, Fish Creek; Jeffery (Tammy) Korte, Manitowoc; Patrick (Cindy) Korte, Manitowoc; Barbara (Ernie) Gerardo, Manitowoc; Thomas Korte and special friend, Amy Witczak, Manitowoc; Sue Anne (Paul) Koeppe, Two Rivers; and Christopher Korte, Two Rivers; eight grandchildren, Daron (Bonnie) Korte, Kevin Korte, Adam (Brittany) Korte, Matthew (Courteney) Korte, Allison Kurth Krzych, Nicholas (Sarah) Korte, Chelsea Korte, and Annalise Koeppe; 11 great grandchildren; Victor, Elsa, Jude, Simone, Olivia, Tryston, Emelia, Jackson, Luna, Eden, and Lincoln; two sisters-in-law, Delores Korte and Joan Luchsinger; also other relatives and friends.  Blanche was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Blanche Luchsinger; and seven siblings, Fredolin (LaVerne) Luchsinger, Caroline (Edward) Hynek, Gilbert Luchsinger, Walter (Marian) Luchsinger Jr., Bernard (Miriam), Dolores (Ralph) Emond, and Donna (Don) Teteak.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 North Water Street, Manitowoc.  Rev. Jacob Hoff will officiate with entombment to take place at Knollwood Mausoleum at a later date.  A luncheon for family and friends will then be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.  The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at Noon.  Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
