Bonnie M. Bastian, age 80, a resident of Two Rivers, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Hamilton Health Services in Two Rivers.

Bonnie was born on June 18, 1943, to the late Raymond and Ruth (Schultz) Leschke. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School. She went on to work at Paragon, Fisher Hamilton, and Wells Fargo Bank of Two Rivers and Manitowoc. Bonnie married Roger James Bastian on August 3, 1963, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. They celebrated 49 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on October 15, 2012. Bonnie loved bowling, golfing, dancing, and most of all being with her family. She had a heart of gold and loved everyone she met. Bonnie would have been a great department store greeter as she couldn't get enough of talking to people and learning about them and their lives. Bonnie will be missed very much by everyone who loved her.

Survivors include Bonnie's children: Kevin (Ronda) Bastian, Manitowoc, and Kelli (Mike) Hagenow, Two Rivers; grandchildren: Devon (Hailey) Schisel, Collin Bastian, Mickenzie Meissner, Morgan Meissner, Nicholas Hagenow, Neena Hagenow, and Amber Schalk; seven great grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Debbie (John) Wachtl, Mary Leschke, Jim Hoffman, and Jerry Bauer; life-long best friend: Janice Post; also, many cousins, other relatives and friends. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents: Raymond and Ruth Leschke; husband: Roger Bastian; son: Kris Bastian; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Elmer and Esther Bastian; four siblings: Connie Hoffman, Valerie Bauer, Casey Leschke, and Roger Leschke; and two grandchildren: Damon Schisel and Blake Bastian.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Road, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier. Cremation will follow at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, and Bonnie will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Two Rivers at a later date. The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. A meal will follow the Mass at the church.
