Bonnie J. Rodey, age 75, a Manitowoc resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.

She was born February 19, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Richard and Geraldine (Vitatow) Wirth. Bonnie attended Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, graduating with the class of 1968. Following high school, she proudly led Bonnie Kadettes Baton Corp, a baton marching group that she enjoyed practicing and marching in parades with. On July 8, 1978 Bonnie married Charles Rodey. On July 4, 2025 they proudly celebrated 50 years of being together. She was employed as a CNA at Holy Family Memorial for many years until her retirement. Following her retirement in 2013, her and Charles became Destin, Florida snowbirds where they made many friends over the years. She most recently enjoyed going to Treeland Resort on the Chippewa Flowage with her husband and friends for two weeks in September. They also enjoyed doing many puzzles together. Bonnie enjoyed creating silk floral arrangements for weddings and other events. She lovingly made each flower and arrangement by hand. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
