Brad J. Steckmesser, age 71, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at his home.

He was born July 23, 1955 in Manitowoc, son of the late John and Marie (Demro) Steckmesser. Brad attended Lincoln High School, graduating with the class of 1973. He worked various jobs over the course of his career.

Brad is survived by his brother and sister-in-law: Jim and Dawn Steckmesser, his beloved niece: Libby Steckmesser, as well as other relatives and his friends in the neighborhood where he lived. He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Marie Steckmesser as well as aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and private family services will take place at a later date.
