Brian C. Chambers, age 65, a resident of Manitowoc, and formerly of Eddyville, IA, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Administration Medical Center in Milwaukee.

Brian was born on April 23, 1957 in Oskaloosa, IA to the late Charles "Glen" and Phyllis (Goschke) Chambers.  He graduated from Eddyville High School with the class of 1975, and later went on to obtain his Bachelors Degree from Simpson College in Indianola, IA.  On November 24, 1990, Brian married Deanna Beaver in Knoxville, IA.  Brian enlisted in the Iowa Army National Guard in 1982 and served his country until his honorable discharge in 2002.  He was an avid reader and a Milwaukee Brewers fan.  Brian loved Lake Michigan and sailing.  Those passions led to a group of "Marina friends" at Maritime Yacht Club of Manitowoc.  Above all, he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family and friends – especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include Brian's wife of 31 years, Deanna; four children, Nate (Izzy) Chambers, Oskaloosa, IA; Natalie (Eric Donovan) Chambers, Gallatin, TN; Logan Chambers, Eddyville, IA; and Mercedes (Nathan Gilliland) Chambers, Eddyville, IA; nine grandchildren; brother, Eric (Cheryl) Chambers, Albia, IA; two nieces; also other relatives and friends.  Brian was preceded in death by his son, Charles Lee "Buck" Chambers; and parents, Phyllis and Glen Chambers.

A Life Celebration Social for family and friends will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2023y at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel with burial of Brian's cremated remains to be held at Iowa Veterans Cemetery at a later date.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
