Obituary

Brian E. Meihsner, age 64, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away while surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at his residence.

Brian was born on May 22, 1954 in Manitowoc to Harry Meihsner and the late Carol Koch Meihsner.  He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1973.  Brian had worked at Fischer-Hamilton Industries for 42 years and then worked at Luisier Plumbing for the past 7 years.  He enjoyed spending his time playing bocce ball, hunting at Luisier camp, going to Packer games with his dad, playing sheepshead and cribbage, but most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include Brian's father, Harry Meihsner, Manitowoc; four children, Heather Tome, Manitowoc; Kylee Culp, Manitowoc; Lindsey (Blake) Callahan, Springboro, OH; and Brandon (Ashley) Meihsner, Springboro, OH; four grandchildren, Madison and Austin Callahan, and Avah and Noah Tome; his love, Rebecca Ney and her three daughters, Andrea, Ashley, Tanya and their children; three brothers, Ric (Nancy) Meihsner, North Hutchinson Island, FL; Bruce (Linda) Meihsner, Menomonee Falls; and Tim (Rose) Meihsner, Manitowoc; two sisters, Colleen Shimon, Two Rivers; and Wendy (Mike) Towers, Green Bay.  He is further survived by the mother of his children, Karen (Mark) Henfer, Manitowoc; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life with shared thoughts and memories will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.  Rev. Judine Duerwaechter will officiate with burial of Brian's cremated remains to take place at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.  The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until the Celebration of Life service at 7 p.m.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com

Brian's family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Jella and N.P. Shaunta at St. Luke's Hospital (Vince Lombardi Cancer Care Center), Dr. Mendoza, Aurora BayCare Medical Center and his wonderful hospice nurse Amber.
