Bruce P. Hoffman, age 64, of 2915 South 26th Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life Friday evening, January 20, 2012 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Green Bay.
Bruce was born on April 21, 1947 in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. He was the son of the late Vilas and Modesta Schesta Hoffman. After high school, Bruce entered the United States Navy and served overseas during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed the great outdoors – especially walking in the woods and making crafts out of twisted branches and logs he found on his journeys.
He is survived by one son: Keith Hoffman, Two Rivers, WI; twin grandsons: Alex and Nathan; sisters and brothers: Jim (Jo Ann) Hoffman, Manitowoc, WI; Jerome "Bud" (Rita) Hoffman, Francis Creek, WI; Ellen (Bob) Peters, Manitowoc, WI; Marna Wagner, Manitowoc, WI; Audrey Skattebo, Two Rivers, WI; Candice (Al) Krueger, Two Rivers, WI; Pauline (Bill) Blashka, Sheboygan, WI; Marty (Mary) Hoffman, Manitowoc, WI; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Vilas and Minnie Hoffman; granddaughter: Elisabeth Hoffman; two brothers: Tom Hoffman and Brian Hoffman; one sister: Tory Hastings.
In respect to Bruce's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with arrangements.
