Carol Schramm, age 82, a resident of Two Rivers, entered eternal life on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Carol was born on October 23, 1934 in Milwaukee to the late Leon and Evelyn Swosinski Kohnke. After graduating from high school, Carol went on to obtain her degree as an X-Ray Tech in 1955 from Milwaukee Hospital. On June 29, 1957, Carol married Lloyd "Goose" Schramm in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on April 11, 2014. Carol had worked as an X-Ray Tech at the Two Rivers Clinic for 25 years. She then worked at Memorial Hospital, and later for Dr. Bhatt as a medical transcriptionist. She was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church in Two Rivers.

Survivors include Carol's two children, Lynn (Mark) Sawyer, Two Rivers; and Lisa Chambers, Manitowoc; daughter-in-law, Kim Schramm; four grandchildren, Kelly (Andy) LaCrosse, Kyle (McKenzie) Schramm, Katelyn Sawyer, and Dallas Chambers and his significant other Nicole Panosh; three great grandchildren, Ethan, Peytynn and Bailee; sister, Karen Griffin; two sisters-in-law, Donna Kohnke and Alice (Waldemar) Wolfmeyer; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Evelyn Kohnke; husband, Lloyd; son, Steven Schramm; two brothers, Ken Kohnke and Mark Kohnke; and a sister, Bev Kemmeter.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Rev. David Arndt officiating. Following the funeral service, a luncheon will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Cremation will take place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel at a later date.
