Carol A. Tyeptanar, age 61, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.
Carol was born on October 22, 1957 in Chicago, IL to the late John and Marie (Antolec) Ratulowski. She graduated from Wells High School in Chicago with the class of 1976. On October 13, 1984, Carol married Jim Tyeptanar in Chicago. Carol had been employed at Northern Labs and was most recently working at Silver Creek Industries. She enjoyed being outdoors and going on family vacations. Carol enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends – especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include Carol's husband of 34 years, Jim; three children, Joyce (Dustin) Price, Two Rivers; Jimmy (Rita) Tyeptanar, Two Rivers; and Michael (Emily) Tyeptanar, Manitowoc; six grandchildren, Samuel, Luke, Alison, Alexander, Henry, and Joshua; sister, Sylvia Fabian, Manitowoc; two brothers, Bobby Ratulowski and Ricky Ratulowski, both of Manitowoc; beloved pet, Tucker; also other relatives and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marie Ratulowski; and two brothers, Johnny and Dennis Ratulowski.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo – 1121 North 14 th Street, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Doug LeCaptain with cremation to follow at a later date at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 4 p.m. until the time of the prayer service led by Ruthann Ross at 7:30 p.m. The visitation will continue on Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com

Carol's family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Andrew Yetter, all of the staff of the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers, and Aurora At Home Hospice for all of the care and compassion they provided.
Per Carol's wishes, she was a donor and gave the gift of sight to others in need.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11 th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
