Cathleen R. Dokey, age 48, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Tuesday, August 23, 2016.

Cathy was born on June 30, 1968 in Manitowoc to Bonnie Jones Dokey and the late James Dokey. She attended Lincoln High School and later gained her certification as a C.N.A. Cathy had been previously employed at Rainbow House as a caregiver for many years. She enjoyed spending her time watching the Green Bay Packers and being with her family and friends. Cathy was a very special person and was blessed with the gift of being able to make people laugh.

Survivors include Cathy's son: Curtiss, Manitowoc, mother: Bonnie Dokey, Manitowoc; brother: Michael Dokey, Manitowoc; sister: Janet (Jeff) Bronson, Two Rivers; nieces and nephews: Joshua (Jessica) Dokey, and their children, Caitie and Michael; Ashley, James, and Zachary Howell; her dog: Max; also other relatives and friends. Cathy was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; father: Jimmy; also many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. A reception will then be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home.
