Charles E. Minkel, age 77, of the Town of Wabeno, formerly of Two Rivers, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021, at Aurora Medical Center Manitowoc County.

He was born on June 13, 1943 in Oconto Falls to the late Elmer and Lorraine (Shampu) Minkel.  Charles grew up and attended school in Wabeno.  He worked for many years at Mirro Aluminum Company in Manitowoc as a press operator until it closed in 2003.  When he wasn't working, Charles could be found enjoying the outdoors fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his children, Kevin (Tina) Minkel, Scott Minkel, and Steve Minkel; grandchildren, Dalton, Austin, and Amanda; brother, Dennis (Diane) Minkel; and family friends, Nathan, Lyle, and Travis Lemay, Jerry and Chris Licht, Greg Gehrke, and other family members.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2021, at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Matthew Sauer officiating.  Family and friends may call beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel and burial will be at a later date in Knollwood Memorial Gardens.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com .
