Charlotte M. Schmidt, age 67, a Two Rivers resident, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

She was born on August 7, 1950 in Chicago, daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Becker) Filipek. Charlotte was a graduate of Tilden Tech High School in Chicago. In July of 1991 she married Charles Schmidt in Manitowoc. Charlotte operated the Bottoms Up Bar in Reedsville for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and various types of crafts. Charlotte followed the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs, but she enjoyed all sports.

Survivors include her husband: Charles Schmidt, Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law: Joseph (Ashley) Baxter, Two Rivers, Steve (Melissa) Baxter, Whitelaw; two step-daughters: Koren Zipperer, Brillion, Wendy (Kevin) Grelson, Appleton; six grandchildren; one brother: John Filipek, Manitowoc; and two sisters: Marie (Art) Halmstad, Appleton and Eleanor Filipek of Weyauwega. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter: Rosalie Baxter.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Rev. Guy Corrigall will officiate with burial to take place at Knollwood Memorial Gardens at a later date. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at 6:00 PM.
