Obituary

Cheryl "Cheri" A. Riemer, age 75, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away with family by her side on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Cheri was born on November 10, 1948 in Two Rivers to the late Arthur and Dorothy (Sidoty) Deering.  After graduating from Lincoln High School, she went on to obtain her Associate Degree at Lakeshore Technical College.  Cheri had worked at Manitowoc County Job Service, Northridge Care Center, and at Super 8 Motel.  She enjoyed spending her time reading, refinishing furniture, the occasional joy of scratch off tickets and Oneida Casino, taking road trips to concerts and wineries with her daughter, and above all, spending time with her family, friends, and pets.

Survivors include Cheri's three children, Dennis (Melissa) Riemer, Lisa Hauschultz, and Rebecca Riemer, all of Manitowoc; five grandchildren, Elizabeth (Alex) McCord, Andy (Amanda) Anderson, John "DJ" Robert, Mikayla Riemer, and Hailey Riemer; eight great grandchildren; brother, John (Kristine) Deering; sister, Sandy (Tom) Hale; also other relatives and friends.  Cheri was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Dorothy Deering; and great granddaughter, Audrianna Marie Kuik.

In respect with the family's wishes, there will not be a visitation or funeral service.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.  Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.  Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with arrangements.
