Obituary

Clarice Dura, age 74, a resident of Two Rivers, WI, and formerly of Marinette, WI, passed away due to a prolonged lung problem on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc, WI.

Clarice was born on December 4, 1943 in Marinette, WI to the late Arthur and Edna Baker Pecha. She attended Marinette High School and later completed her education by obtaining her Associates Degree in Sociology from UW Marinette. In October of 1959, Clarice married Walter Dura in Marinette. She had worked at Boucher's Bakery for a few years. Clarice also helped her husband in multiple businesses, and worked at Remedy Intelligence Staffing in Green Bay. Clarice was an excellent writer and used her talent in ways to uplift the spirit of others. She was a very kind hearted, outgoing, and loving person that went out of her way to make people feel loved and accepted. Clarice was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed making meals and a home for her family. Later in life, she joined in her husband's passion in biking and took pride in going on long bike trips with her husband, family and biking friends from the Manitowoc area.

Survivors include Clarice's husband, Walter; four children, Suzanne (Scott) Tebo, Scott (Melinda) Dura, Luann (Roy Sarson) Dura, and Christine Dura; three grandchildren, Christopher, Jeremy and Chelsea; great grandson, Ty; brother, Robert Pecha; two cats, Tigger and Callie; also other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Darlene, Dick and Alice.

A Life Celebration Social will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
