Obituary

Clarice Dion Marie Jacobson, age 30, a resident of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Manitowoc, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2026. Her passing leaves a deep and profound ache in the hearts of those who loved her.

She was born September 13, 1995, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter of Ronald and Renee (Metzger) Jacobson. Clarice attended Lincoln High School, graduating with the class of 2014. Following high school, she attended St. Norbert College, then Trinity University, San Antonio, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and German. Clarice loved all animals, especially her Airedale, Sophie and cuddly cat, Miles.

Clarice made her home in San Antonio, working as an office manager at Bob’s Steak and Chop. She approached her work with dedication and kindness, forming meaningful connections with those around her. Clarice had a gentle heart and a deep love for animals, a reflection of the compassion she carried throughout her life. Her sweetness, quiet strength, and thoughtful nature touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Survivors include her parents: Ronald and Renee Jacobson; her brother: Andrew (Becca Thoms) Jacobson; her sister: Camille Jacobson; maternal grandparents: Jeanne and Richard Metzger; paternal grandmother: Karen Jacobson; significant other: Paul Samaniego; aunts and uncles: Ryan (Tiffany) Metzger and their children: Emma and Lilly, and Katherine (Paul) Hoffman and their children: Veronica and Gabriel; her godmother: Cris (Bret) Argenbright and their children: Audrey and Sean; a special friend: Katherine Yetter; as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather: Charles Jacobson; uncle: Richard “Rick” Metzger; and cousins: Daniel Medina, Crystal Schneider, Lisa Schneider, and Chelsea Dehne.

She leaves behind many memories of kindness, humor, compassion and a willingness to help whenever she could. She will be remembered for her gentle heart and the love she shared so deeply and freely.

Private family services have been held. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Clarice's name.
