Clarice E. Wage, age 87, a resident at Brewster Village, Appleton, Wisconsin formerly of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Brewster Village.
Clarice was born on July 4, 1923 in Reedsville, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late John and Lynda Beck Hale. Clarice was a graduate of Reedsville High School when she was 16 years old. In 1942 she married Clarence Wage who has preceded her in death. After their marriage they made their home and raised their family in Manitowoc. Clarice was a loving wife and mother who provided a special home with her warm, accepting personality and unconditional love. She enjoyed keeping the home pretty with fresh flowers from her garden, playing bridge with her friends and was a voracious reader. Her spirit and caring will live on in all of us who knew her.
She is survived by her two children: Lynda (Joseph) Zeise and Michael (Kathy) Wage; one sister: Ellen Coenen; one sister-in-law: Margaret Wage; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Lynda Hale; husband: Clarence Wage; one daughter: Mrs. Wayne (Barbara) Grall; two brothers and one sister.
