Cleo Angoli, age 91, a resident of St. Mary's Home at Felician Village, formerly of 1403 Ahrens Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life Sunday morning, September 18, 2011 at St. Mary's Home.
Cleo was born June 23, 1920 in Caldwall, Kansas. She was the daughter of the late Ira and Mary Hejna Moran. Cleo had been employed with Holy Family Hospital for almost 30 years retiring in 1985. On August 5, 1939 she married Carl A. Angoli at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Racine, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on June 15, 2002. Cleo had been a long time and very active member of the former Holy Innocents Catholic Church and the Christian Women of Holy Innocents Church. She was a volunteer worker at Holy Family Hospital for many years and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
She is survived by three sons and four daughters-in-law: Michael and Anne Angoli, Francis Creek, WI; William and Susan Angoli, Cooperstown, WI; Gerald and Patricia Angoli, Francis Creek, WI; Gerri Angoli, Morgan Town, West Virginia; four daughters and one son-in-law: Jo Ann and Dale Drake, Oshkosh, WI; Jean Ray, DePere, WI; Joyce Wiseman, Appleton, WI; Marilyn Angoli, Anderson, South Carolina; fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, one sister: Nancy Lyman, South Holland, IL; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends surviving. She was preceded in death by her husband: Carl in 2002; one son: Carl "Tony" Angoli; one daughter and son-in-law: Julie and Patrick Corcoran.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the Blessed Angela Chapel in St. Mary's Home at Felician Village, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Daniel Viertel. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the Blessed Angela Chapel on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at 2:00.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to a memorial fund being established in Cleo's name.
