Constance E. Bartels, age 49, 1425 North 9th Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life late Saturday evening, August 7, 2010 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Connie was born December 31, 1960 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Donald L. and Generose H. Ebert Bartels Sr. Connie was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1978. She had been employed at Super America gas station and currently was employed at the Citgo Station on North 8th and Reed Avenue in Manitowoc.

Connie was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her faithful companion, Mandie, her golden retriever.

She is survived by three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Wayne Bartels, Manitowoc; Donald and Brenda Bartels Jr., Manitowoc; Conrad and Sue Bartels, Manitowoc; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Donna and Dennis Williams, Manitowoc; Cheryl and David Keery, Two Rivers; Dora and Gary Peronto, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew: Scott Keery.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Daniel Felton. Cremation will follow with entombment of the cremains at Knollwood Mausoleum at a later date.

Relatives and friends may call at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall on Wednesday, August 11th, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair Streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
