Constance "Connie" L. Cavanaugh, age 74, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.

She was born July 8, 1950 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Jerry and Mary Ann (Mrozinski) Cavanaugh. Connie graduated from Lincoln High School. She was employed as a CNA for many years, retiring from St. Mary's Nursing Home. She loved to bake and play cards with family and friends. Above all, Connie's grandchildren were her whole world.

Connie is survived by her two children: Jerry (Rhonda) Cornils and Jennifer (Keith) Welnicke; four grandchildren: Ashley and Dillon Welnicke and Samuel and Ella Cornils; and three siblings: Jean Denk, Mary Havel, and Patrick Cavanaugh. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Jerry and Mary Ann Cavanaugh; two siblings: Victoria (Larry) Pieschel and Michael Cavanaugh; brother-in-law: Ed Havel; and her special friend: Janet Havel.

Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and a memorial service will take place at 12:00 p.m. Noon on Friday, December 20, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, 1416 Grand Avenue, Manitowoc. Connie will be laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Manitowoc.
