Curtis G. Koepp, age 87, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.

Curt was born on March 26, 1935 in Manitowoc to the late George and Beatrice (Gumm) Koepp.  He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1953.  On November 4, 1954, Curt enlisted with the United States Army and served his country until his honorable discharge on October 15, 1957.  On May 3, 1958, he married Phyllis N. Kotchi at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manitowoc.  After working for his father at Koepp Electric Motors, Curt went on with his wife Phyllis to own and operate K & K Electric Motors in Mishicot for over 31 years until his retirement in 1997.  Curt was a longtime member of the Mishicot Volunteer Fire Department.  He enjoyed racing modified stock cars at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek.  Curt also had a lifelong passion for model electric trains.  He was a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include Curt's wife of 64 years, Phyllis; daughter, Susan (Dr. Brad) Jorgensen, Sherwood; two grandsons, Bryan (Carissa) Jorgensen and Brett (Molly) Jorgensen; niece, Diana (Robert) Blackwell, Texas; also other relatives and friends.  Curt was preceded in death by his parents, George and Beatrice Koepp; sister, Mary Jane Dahlgren; and niece, Kimberly Koepp.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.  Military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 88.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
