Cynthia Anne "Cindy" Nessman, 58, of Manitowoc, died unexpectedly at her mother's home on August 24, 2021 in Manitowoc.
Cindy was born on April 2, 1963 in Marshfield. Her family later moved to Manitowoc where she attended Lincoln High School and UW-Manitowoc where she was an English tutor as well as a student. Cindy was an incredibly creative and loving person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to a wide variety of music (though Tom Petty was her favorite), watching (and talking about) the Walking Dead, and listening to the Rob Moore radio station. She will be remembered for her generosity and for her deep love of family and friends.
Survivors include her mother, Judy (Dirrigle) Nessman, Manitowoc; her twin daughters, Vanessa Nessman, Milwaukee and Katrina Nessman, Two Rivers; her granddaughter, Eliana Nessman, Manitowoc; siblings, Amy Nessman, Manitowoc, Becky (Buddy) Levanetz, Tisch Mills, Dan (Cheryl) Nessman, Manitowoc, Paul (Summer) Nessman, Baton Rouge, Mandy Nessman, Two Rivers; brother-in-law, Lee Gauthier, Manitowoc; and nieces and nephews, Cory Nessman, Julia Gauthier, Danny Nessman, Michael Nessman, Dylan Nessman, Wyatt Levanetz, Claire Levanetz, Quincy O'Connor, Jack Kitzmann, Joseph Johnson, Nola Kitzmann, Lila Nessman and Leah Nessman. She was preceded in death by her dear son, Zachary B. Nessman, Manitowoc and her father, Gregory R. Nessman, Manitowoc.
A memorial service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Gilbert officiating. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Cindy's life and the family encourages attendees to be safe while doing so and will be understanding of those who cannot attend because of current pandemic concerns.
