Dana J. Laude, age 60, a resident of Fond du Lac, and formerly of Weyauwega, entered eternal life on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

Dana was born on May 2, 1960 in Wausau to John and the late Esther (Norrbom) Laude.  Following his time at Weyauwega High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy in 1978.  On November 23, 1991, Dana married April Wastel at Zion Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.  Dana had a passion for computers and had previously worked as a computer repairman where he owned his own business.  His main hobbies were his Ham radio, listening to podcasts, watching Packer games and Survivor, and anything to do with computers.

Survivors include Dana's wife of nearly 30 years, April; two sons, Erik Wastel and Kyle (Noel) Laude, all of Fond du Lac; two grandchildren, Whitaker and Willow; father, John "Walking Eagle" Laude, Manitowoc; sister, Debbie (Terry) Schimmel, Manitowoc; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Dana was preceded in death by his mother, Estie.

Private family services will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc with Pastor Jed Manders officiating.  Cremation will take place at a later date with military rites and burial of Dana's cremated remains to be held at a later date at Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
