Darren E. Reichwaldt, age 53, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 30, 2026. Darren was born to his parents Diane (Lutze) and Eugene Reichwaldt on April 8, 1972, in Manitowoc. He was a 1990 graduate of Lincoln High School and went on to University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in History in 1995. He most recently was employed with Metko, Inc. in New Holstein. Darren had many interests including woodworking and gardening. His family always said he was born in the wrong century because he truly enjoyed studying history, and loved collecting all sorts of things of historical interest and value. Darren looked forward to his week-long trip to Pennsylvania for the annual Pennsic SCA event.

Darren is survived by his parents Eugene and Diane Reichwaldt; siblings Julie (Robert) Meissner and Philip (Marissa) Reichwaldt; nieces and nephews Luke and Elly Meissner, and Allison, Emily, Scarlett, and William Reichwaldt; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Clarence and Edna Reichwaldt and Emil and Adeline Lutze.

Private family services were held. Darren was laid to rest at Saxon Cemetery in Cleveland, Wisconsin.
