David R. Kraemer, of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Manitowoc, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at his home.

David was born November 12, 1946 in Manitowoc, son of the late Marvin Kraemer and Florence (Pekulik) Kraemer. He attended Lincoln High School, graduating with the class of 1965. Following graduation, David enlisted in the United States Army, serving in Vietnam. He was employed with Manitowoc Cranes, Kelvinator, and Chilton Milk Products. David enjoyed the outdoors, as well as studying Indian history and customs. He also enjoyed driving his Polaris Slingshot, whether on a long trip or just a short cruise. Above all, David was a very caring and loving person and will be deeply missed by his family.

David is survived by his son: Paul (Sally) Kraemer; five grandchildren: JT Shields, Brandon (Brianna) Kraemer, Briston and Raya VanAkkeren, and Julian Mathes; one brother: Pat (Ann) Kraemer; and his beloved dog Ricco. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Michael (Karen) Kraemer.

A celebration of David's life will take place from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc.
