David A. Schweigl, age 53, of 1010 Flambeau Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at his residence.

David was born February 9, 1961 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He was the son of Nathalie Bausch Schweigl and the late Allan Schweigl. David was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1979. He had been employed at Hamilton Industries in Two Rivers, Wetenkamp Excavating and Schaefer Trucking Company. David was forced to retire due to health issues with Multiple Sclerosis for 15 years. He enjoyed working on cars both mechanically and with restoration. David was also very creative and skilled in the restoration of his home.

He is survived by his mother: Nathalie Schweigl, Manitowoc, WI; one brother: Daniel Schweigl, Manitowoc, WI; one sister and brother-in-law: Susan and Thomas Curelli, Superior, WI; his pet dogs: Jenny, Maya, and his beloved Molly; along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Allan Schweigl.

Funeral services will be held 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Dave Pleier with a private burial for the family to take place on Tuesday afternoon at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at 5:00 p.m.
