Deschermaier, Debra Ann "Debi", age 64, of Manitowoc passed away Monday March 14, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Debi was born December 29, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois to Robert and Anna Deschermaier. She grew up in Manitowoc, graduating in 1975 from Lincoln High School.

Debi lived in several western states including Colorado, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska before relocating to Manitowoc ten years ago. Those who knew her well knew Juneau, Alaska is the place that stole her heart. Debi retired from Lowes in 2019. She loved traveling, whale watching, fishing, and boating. Debi was extremely loved by many and will be remembered for her fiery and free spirit and to say she will be missed is an understatement.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother David.

She is survived by her son Christopher and daughter-in-law Christine Langlois of Loveland, CO; good friends Debbie and Rick Karle of Longmont, CO; uncle Paul Haufe of Chicago, IL; cousins Diana Braun and Kathy Mountain of Chicago, IL and Rick Haufe of Louisville, KY.

There will be a celebration of life in Colorado at a later date. In respect with Debra's wishes, there will be no visitation or service in Manitowoc.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
