Delmar "Del" Decker

Delmar “Del” Decker passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 3, 2026, at age 73. Del was born on November 3, 1952, in Manitowoc to George and Anna (Herdina) Decker. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1971. He went on to become a dedicated employee at Radant’s, and never called in sick during his entire tenure there. He was the proud recipient of the International Driver of the Year award, which he was presented with at a ceremony in Chicago. After his long career with Radant’s, he retired in 2020. Del loved his Wisconsin sports, and was an avid coin collector. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family, and especially enjoyed his grandchildren.

Survivors include Del's wife of 46 years, LuAnn (Princl); two sons, Matt (Maranda) Decker and Clayton Decker; grandchildren Gavin and Gwen Decker and Nathan Decker; siblings, David (Cheryl) Decker, Kathy Schaaf, Emily Decker and Sarah Decker; siblings-in-law Jan (Wayne) Klein, Todd (Lynn) Princl, Jill (David) Schetter, and Judy Decker; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Del was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law Robert and Helen Princl; and siblings Cheryl Kohls and Bradley “Bud” Decker.

Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. A Life Celebration Social for family and friends will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. A special family tribute will be held at 7:30p.m. Please, no flowers.
