Delores M. Olson, born on March 18, 1941, in Marinette, Wisconsin, passed away on February 1, 2026, at Shady Lane Nursing Home in Manitowoc. She was the beloved daughter of Elwood and Pearl (Behling) Olson. Delores spent her entire life on the family farm, where she grew up tending to the cows, helping her dad and brother-in-law fix things, and taking care of the grounds, and doing all manner of necessary chores.

She worked as a cook at the local hospital, starting in 1969, when it was known as Marinette General Hospital and retiring in 2004 after it became Aurora Medical Center - Bay Area. Over the years, she made many friends at the hospital.

Delores was devoted to her pet dogs, most notably Chubbs and, more recently, Lucky. She enjoyed gardening, tending to flower pots, planting trees on the property, and riding around on her Gator. Following in her father's footsteps, she was frugal but made sure to have a new car every couple of years.

Delores is survived by her sister Sandy Smith, sister-in-law Marge Olson, numerous nieces and nephews and their families, many cousins, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elwood and Pearl Olson; siblings Nona Lesjack, Elwood R. Olson, and Raymond Olson; and brothers-in-law Vincent Smith and Bill Lesjack.

In accordance with Delores' wishes, no formal services will be held. If desired, donations in memory of Delores are appreciated to a charity of your choice.
