Denise A. Krowiorz passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on June 5, 2025, at age 73. She was born in Manitowoc to Ethel (Haupt) and Verlin Rusch. In 1970, she graduated from Lincoln High School and furthered her education at Milwaukee County Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1973. Denise married Richard Krowiorz on November 17, 1973, at First Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. She worked at Holy Family Memorial Hospital and Manitowoc County Heath Care Center. She earned her bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1992 from Silver Lake College. Denise retired after a debilitating stroke in 2004. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling with Rick, visiting Mexico and going on Caribbean cruises together.

Denise is survived by her husband of 51 years, Rick; her children Adrienne (Chad) Radtke, Erica (Nick) Johnson, and Phillip Krowiorz; grandchildren Hunter (Alyssa), Jonah, and Juniper; great-granddaughters Brielle, Brynlee, and Eden; siblings Sue (Steve) Nass and David Rusch; as well as in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Verlin and Ethel, infant sister Annette, brother Steven Rusch, and her beloved cat George.
