Dennis L. Deehr, age 67, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee.

He was born September 23, 1955, son of Arline (Schwab) Deehr and the late James Deehr. Dennis attended Kiel High School, graduating with the class of 1973. On December 5, 2008, he married his wife, Barb. Dennis was employed with the Kohler Company from 1973 until his retirement in 2018. He enjoyed hunting as well as going on motorcycle rides. Dennis was very handy and could often be found fixing things and tinkering. He was also an avid Packer fan and loved attending games. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife: Barb, three sons: Chris (Bonnie) Deehr, Ben (Andrea) Deehr, and Adam (Megan) Deehr and their children: Jemma and Phoenix Deehr; four step-children: Alison (Matt) Hills and their children: Rosalynn, Mathias, and Kayleigh Hills; Amanda Swade; Alan (Jill) Swade and their daughters: Aubree, Abby, and Alanna Swade; and Austin (Samantha) Swade and their children: Yelianna, Liam, and Rowan Swade; his mother: Arline Deehr; and three brothers: Bill Deehr, Bob (Dolores) Deehr, and Terry Deehr (significant other Tammy). Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father: James Deehr; two grandchildren: Claire Deehr and Abigail Swade; and one sister-in-law: Peggy Deehr.

Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and a celebration of life will take place from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 7, 2023 at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for a donation of their choice.
