Obituary

Diane H. Freidenberger, age 59, of 2401 Dewey Street, Manitowoc, died Monday afternoon, October 13, 2014 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Diane was born June 24, 1955 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Helen Worden Kratz. Diane was a graduate of Brillion High School with the class of 1973. She had been employed with Brillion Iron Works for eight years until poor health forced her to retire. On November 24, 1978 she married Frank E. Freidenberger at Chilton, Wisconsin. Diane was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, dancing and visiting with her family. She also had a love for flowers and her pet cats. Diane was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years: Frank; two daughters: Catherine (Trevor) McDaniel, Manitowoc, WI; Amanda Freidenberger, Manitowoc, WI; one grandson: Gabriel McDaniel; special friend of the family: Katherym Feo and her three children, Emmanuel, Annah, and Gary, Manitowoc, WI; three brothers: Harry (Sue) Kratz, Chilton, WI; Fred Schwabenlender, Brillion, Wi; Jim Schwabenlender, Appleton, WI; one sister: Roseann Halbach, St. Anna, WI; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Helen Kratz.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Mr. Keith Burnette with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at 3:00 p.m. Following the funeral services a luncheon will be held for relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Giriyappa, Home Care Health Services, Critical Care Unit Staff at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center and to the Jehovah's Witnesses congregation.
