Diane Marie Martinez, age 73, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life while surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at her residence.

Diane was born in Manitowoc to the late Irving and Arlene Sorenson Pech. She attended Monona Grove High School. On November 3, 1959, Diane married John Martinez in Houston, TX. For over 40 years, Diane welcomed children with open arms. She leaves behind a long legacy of making a lasting and meaningful personal difference in the lives of many young people. Diane was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Manitowoc.

Survivors include Diane's husband: John; five children: Debbie (Mike) Mellon, Casper, WY; John (Linda) Martinez, Tim (Angie) Martinez, Robert (Serena) Martinez, and Stacey Martinez, all of Manitowoc; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; also other relatives and friends. Diane was preceded in death by her parents: Irving and Arlene Pech.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2016 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1501 Marshall Street, Manitowoc with Rev. Judine Duerwaechter officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
