Diane J. Seefeldt, age 73, a Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life late Sunday afternoon, February 21, 2016 at the Aurora Bay Care Medical Center, Green Bay.
Diane was born March 19, 1942 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Bernard and Clara Shedivy Fidler. Diane was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1960. She had been employed with the Cawley Company in Manitowoc for 15 years from where she retired on June 26, 2009. Diane married Daroll Seefeldt Sr. in Manitowoc. He in death on January 30, 2000. Diane was a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed flowers and playing bingo.
She is survived by two daughters: Tammy (Daniel) LaFleur, LaCrosse; Peggy (Mark) Sieben, Two Rivers; four step children: Daniel (Tina) Seefeldt, TX; Daroll (Sherry) Seefeldt Jr., Poynette; Allen (Dawn) Seefeldt, Manitowoc; Mike (Tammy) Seefeldt, Manitowoc; one brother: Robert (Judith) Fidler, Manitowoc; seven sisters: Janet Clark, FL; Patricia Holler, Manitowoc; Sharon Benishek, Green Bay; Marlene (Greg) Laufenberg, Milwaukee; Sue (Dennis) Cieslak, Oak Creek; Terri (Mike) Sosalla, South Milwaukee; Elaine (Dan) Halinske, Waterford; fifteen grandchildren: Sheila, Jasmine, Chase, Sylvia, Cedrick, Crystal, Joseph, Sarah, Amanda, Zakk, Mike, Kim, Angie, April, and Mike Jr.; nine great grandchildren: Lilly, Bella, Alex, Jaden, Justice, Beaju, Ashton, Carly, and Daisy; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Bernard and Clara Fidler; husband: Daroll Seefeldt Sr.; and one brother: Dennis Fidler; two brothers-in-law: Thomas Holler and Mark Benishek.
Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Robert Kujawski. Cremation will follow at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel with entombment of the cremains to take place at Knollwood Mausoleum at a later date. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 6 p.m. Following the funeral service there will be a dinner held for relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home.
