Donald E. Curkeet, age 56, quietly passed away on Monday, June 20, 2011.

Don was born on July 16, 1954 in Cuba City to Loyd H. and Blanche R. (Goke) Curkeet. On January 19, 1974, Don married Wanda. In 1981, Don took a position as an airbrush artist for the Manitowoc Company. Later, he became the art director for Oil-Rite. Don and Wanda established Boardwalk Home Rentals in 1988.

Survivors include his wife: Wanda; six children: Nole, Koral Rose, Calvin, Crystal, James, and Cadon; his father and stepmother: Loyd and Phylis; seven brothers: Terry, William, Loyd Jr., Robert, Eugene, Richard, and Kelly; two sisters: Lorraine and Mary. Don was preceded in death by his mother: Blanche; and one brother: Bernard.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4915 Hecker Road, Manitowoc from 1 pm until the memorial service at 2 pm. Burial took place at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc.
