Dorothy Groll Rosinsky, age 90, a resident of North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Saturday morning, March 5, 2015 at the care center.
Dorothy was born on February 28, 1926 in Wilkes Barre, PA. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Marie Burton Heller. Dorothy grew up and began her working career in Philadelphia. While she was employed at Burpee Seed Company she met her first husband Frederick J. Groll who she married on December 24, 1944. After their marriage they moved to Manitowoc where she has resided since. Frederick preceded her in death on January 4, 1974. She later married Walter Rosinsky in October 1981. He also preceded Dorothy in death in August 1982. Dorothy had been employed with Napp Office and School Supply for over twenty years prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters: Nancy Groll; Judy (Michael) Tadych, both of Manitowoc; five grandchildren: Dustin Tadych, Heather (Chad) Bajdan, Ryan Tadych, Zachary (Vanessa) Tadych, and Stacie Tadych, all of Manitowoc; five great grandchildren: Mallorie Tadych, Damien Tadych, Gavin Bajdan, Evan Tadych, and Peyton Tadych, all of Manitowoc; one sister: Harriet Lenzner, AZ; her beloved and faithful sheltie, Wylie; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Marie Heller; her first husband: Frederick Groll; second husband: Robert Rosinsky; one son: Richard Groll; one sister: Gerri; one brother: Robert Jr.; along with other relatives.
Memorial services will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Deacon Alan Boeldt. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel with burial of the cremains to take place at Evergreen Cemetery on Thursday.
