Duane "Butch" Bull passed on Saturday, August 23, 2025, surrounded by his family, at age 85. Butch was born on November 21, 1939, to Gladys (Larson) and Harry Bull in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1958. In 1961, he married his high school sweetheart Judith Ahrndt at Holy Redeemer Church in Two Rivers. He was employed at Manitowoc Company as a Journeyman Machinist. Butch loved golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a longtime member of Wander Springs Golf Course where he spent his days playing golf, driving the beverage cart, and developing many close friendships over the years. Butch and Judy escaped Wisconsin winters for Gulf Shores, Alabama, where he was an active member of the Wisconsin Snow Bird Club.
Butch is survived by his wife Judy; children Barbara (Rick) Pitroski, Mary (Robert) Guzman, Michelle (Chris) Wass, David (Julie) Bull, and Michael (Sarah) Bull; grandchildren Matthew (Ashley) Guzman, Amanda (Isaac) Swenson, Adam (Samantha) Wass, Jacob (Alexx) Wass, Kirstin (Turner) Segars, Allison Bull, and Isaac Bull; brother-in-law Donald (Carol) Ahrndt; as well as nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Gladys and Harry Bull, sister Gwendolyn (Jerry) Keehan, brother Gerald (Sandy) Bull, and his in-laws Beatrice and George Ahrndt.
Cremation has occurred at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home Crematory Chapel. Relatives and friends may greet the family at St. Francis of Assisi, Waldo Site, 1121 N. 14th St., Manitowoc, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m., officiated by Rev. Nicholas Stellpflug. A luncheon will follow at Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 N. Water St. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
