Obituary

Dustin was born March 25, 1987 in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. He is the son of Thomas Knapp and Mary Pilon Jaskolski. Dustin attended schools in Mishicot, Manitowoc and the Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland, WI. In the spring of 2008, Dustin entered the United States Army. He was stationed at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Washington. He then went overseas serving in Afghanistan for almost one year. During his tour of duty Dustin received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Dustin was home on leave from Washington for the past two weeks and was scheduled to go back to duty on Wednesday, August 18th.

He is survived by his mother: Mary J. Jaskolski, Sayner, WI; father: Thomas C. Knapp, Manitowoc; one sister: Jennifer Knapp, Manitowoc; two brothers: Thomas A. Knapp, Manitowoc; Tony Knapp, Manitowoc; maternal grandmother: Suzanne Pilon, Two Rivers, WI; one niece: Chrystell Knapp; along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: William Pilon I; paternal grandparents: Arlington and Bernice (Cheampeau) Knapp; stepfather: Eric Jaskolski Sr.; two cousins: Kenneth A. Mraz and William Pilon III.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August, 20, 2010 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Daniel Felton with burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Military rites will be accorded by the Military Funeral Honors Team from the 14th Military Police Brigade, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Thursday, August 19, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and also on Friday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 10:30. Following the services at the cemetery, the family extends an invitation to relatives and friends to attend a luncheon which will be held at Two Creeks Town Hall located on Highway 42.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
